    Excellent tasting fish. Better then walleye.

    They get a bad rap because of the Y bones. Key is to know how to get the Y bones out of them.

    Its not hard to clean them and get the bones out.

    You would love pickled northern then.

    We make alot of it and there are tons of different recipes. Its nothing for a few of us to sit around and eat a two gallon jar with of course a few gallons of beer.
