Experienced driver looking to go back

UPDATE: Dad called the DMV today. They said he wouldn't have to take the test again, they would just "reissue" them. To get them reissued will be $50-$100. He also called to see how much a DOT physical would be. Walk in clinic is $55 and regular doctors office is $75. Overall, the total process is going to cost anywhere from $100-$150. He says he's gonna try to get on at a smaller company around here. He's been there, done that with the big companies. Learned his lesson with them. He's never had any issues with drugs or traffic violations so getting hired shouldn't be a problem in those areas. What is gonna be a problem, is someone willing to hire him after being off the road for 7.5 years. I'll keep y'all updated!
