Tossed my trash cans off here in Texas, getting my restart going for a round robin to Georgia then back to Texas on the books.

Found out the truck get's 11.5 mpg if loaded light and 8 loaded to 79,000. Saved 700.00 in fuel cost on the load down here and going to keep this up until the loads go away.

Easy load and unload, no drama and so far everyone is good.

 

Good plan.

What do you run for a truck?

 

Volvo 660 tractor, has a Detroit 12.7 in it and getting a tune here shortly, runs like a scalded cat with hot grease. No leaks and rides better than any tractor I have driven in 33 years.

 

Just got done plowing snow.

Heading to WI tomorrow morning to load 7,000 lbs going to CO. I probably won't run west until saturday afternoon.

I think I might have forgot how to sleep in my truck!

 

81 degrees here with a nice breeze, just sayin

 

I would have to have my shorts on for that.

They are saying up to 16 inches of snow here Sunday night into Monday. I'll be glad to skip out ahead of it.

 

Being from Florida the mandatory dress code is shorts and flip flops, tropical shirt and a good pair of sun glasses.

Now if some one would design a pair of steel toe flip flops that would be most excellent, waiting I am.
