Maverick Transportation

i'm just wondering how long does it take for maverick to get back with you after you faxed them your release and job history report? just curisious any info would be appreicated

 

I applied to them and it took about 2-3 weeks.

I applied and they got a bad reference from the Job that I worked at as Gen manager for 2 years. and what was sad is the place lied to Maverick about me but by the time I got the truth faxed to them the hiring board said no. Things against me was the bad reference and the fact that I live in no mans land up in N. Michigan.

 

My recruiter called me Tuesday and told me my MVR was good and asked me if she could go ahead and call my present employer, I told her,well I haven't started school yet and she was like Oh,lol, well I better not do that yet then huh! I told her my current employer would give me a good reference so their wouldn't be no problems, so she said to call her when school starts so she could get things going after she calls them. Looks like Feb 4 right now, if not I'll have to wait until Mar 4. I'm ready to go.

Yeah. I think there a good company based on everybodys threads on here and some of the drivers I've talked to at the truckstop.

 

My current 2 employers have nothing but good things to say about me. It was the one that I had when I went to driving school that now hates me! No good reason either.

 

I would love to work for them. but will have to settle for one that will hire from N. Michigan.

 

I drive a concrete truck right now. I've been with the company for 4 years. My boss is a really nice guy he's actually the president of the company. I had an interview with the railroad a couple of years ago and he told me that thier was nothing wrong with trying to better myself and said he hated to see me go if I got it, but I didn't get it so I stayed with them.
