I had one at a reciever in Birmingham, AL get stuck. Dock worker comes out with a sledge hammer and hit on it twice before it sprang loose. He told me that one got stuck once in a while.

Most people would have said "hmm, i sure am struggling to leave this dock. better check to see what the problem is". But a lot of people don't have common sense.CondoCruiser Thanks this.

Take it a little further and most would say "hmm, I know they have a Dok-Lok because I seen it when I backed in. It must be stuck or I left a wheel chock in place. Let me get out of this seat and go look".
But leaving a dock should be routine when you remove your chocks, take a second to look at the lock, look to make sure the dock door is closed and verify nobody is in your trailer if you can. Good habits prevents problems!
But everyone has to learn. That's how you become experienced, sometimes it's the hard way. You have to take that branding iron and burn it in your brain. I bet he doesn't do it again.skellr Thanks this.
