What kind of vehicle did you drive? What was your pay? How many miles did you run. Specifics would help.

You can't really call Panther a bad company . Many make good money . The problem is bad fleet owners .

Van? Straight? Semi? O/O? Fleet? Region? We need more info as lots of drivers make very good money with Panther

"How do people claim to make all this money?" Shouldn't you have asked this before signing with them?

I made good with them. Many do and many just refuse too many loads to remain profitable.

You wont. Why do I say this? The person who I ran team with at Fed Ex and who is also the owner of the truck called and talked to someone at Panther, just to see what they paid and such. He told us that the average weekly miles for a team (tractor trailer) were 2500 and the pay was around $1.65 per mile. The teams who drive for Fed Ex Custom Critical make money hand over fist compared to Panther. When I was with Him/Fed Ex, The truck averaged $4500.00 per load, with some longer runs coming in at over $6000.00 + fuel surcharge and the truck made anywhere from $11.000 to $15.000 a week, sometimes more! We know of a few guys that got loads going from NY to western Canada that paid $14.000 for just that one load! Now, That's not just semi truck money, That also applies to the guys running those high end straight trucks because most of the loads we hauled weighed less than 5000 pounds and were the same loads that were offered to the straight trucks and, the guys I talked to who drove the cargo vans made $600 to $1000+ for short trips. The only thing about Fed Ex is that Custom Critical is kinda hard to get into because very few people ever leave.

Took me a month plus to get cleared for everything. Also. If you run single, if your not willing to stay out for weeks at a time and if you don't know where to wait for the high paying loads then you wont make any money at Fed Ex.

Panther sucks ive been here a month owner operater the dont pay for all your miles you have to buy their straps and bars cause yours didnt come from them on top of my truck is a mounting bracket for the Qualcomm instead of useing it they drilled holes n my roof and of course. It leaks all n all very bad place to work you work for money well just to hold you out on road they want pay 2 or 3 loads then you have to file a adimdom just to get your money but noooooo not this week maybe a week or to later when ever shafer says he will give you your pay well then theirs the Qualcomm it is sold and out dated , then the price for it is $72.35 a week plus 35 dollars for them to send you messages and it takes 6 months to p ay off the unit you will always be charged for the messages, plus every week you pay bob tell insurance ok no prob right well if you un hook from your trailer its another $35 each time you doo soo this is all facts i have all documents and photos to back me up so. You want to work for them have fun while they breaking it off in you i took my trailer back today and turned it in ooooo and escrows too 3 different one's come out every week n they cant or want tell you y or were or what its for.....
