Good night from...

Left the Lewiston terminal yesterday morning with a load headed to Oklahoma City that delivers Monday morning. Spending the night at a Pilot in Murdo, SD.

 

In Columbus, OH. T-called a load at the terminal yesterday then checked into a motel and dropped my truck at the Freightliner dealer. Been having both an "amber warning lignt" and the check engine light coming on for the past couple of days. Rather than piss & moan about "being stuck at the terminal" for the weekend I decided to do something constructive and get some much needed rest.

 

lancaster terminal. got here last yesterday after dropping load of pallets off in balch springs. need to scan some paperwork, laundry, and a much needed shower. hopefully can get a load soon.

 

Turns out the warning lights were caused by a corroded wiring harness connector which of course the dealer does not have in stock. The dealer cannot even order the part til Monday which means my truck will be down til Tuesday. At least it's covered by warranty. I'm stuck in a motel til then.

 

load at sunnyvale tx at noon( at dock now) going to amirillo tx(1st stop) for 0800 monday del. guess they're closed on sunday. then head to denver for 0800 tues. del. if i can get to amirillo before 9pm tonite, i be able to squeeze in a 34 reset. t/a about 10 min. from 1st stop. weathers warm here and a bit windy

well, my original plan didn't work out. got to shipper at 1100 for my 1200 appt. didn't start loading me till 1400 and didn't get out of there till about 1630. paperwork said load was 37000 lbs. was thinking about not weighing it but felt a little heavy. so i finally found a catscale nearby and paperwork was rite. better safe then sorry. sitting here at the flying j in amirillo. got here rite at midnite when my 14 hrs was up.sitting here all day till delivery of 1st stop on the 18th. no 34 hr reset gonna be done now lol. been running on recaps for awhile now

I gotta question for you all...once you start your 14 hr clock...can you go on lines 1 and 2 or are you stuck on lines 3 and 4 until your time run out?? Im arguing with an old time here so i need an answer quick lol
