Got the ticket stub for that rock concert and the tee shirt, I stopped letting people load with me being on location because of that same reason.
A trooper in Ohio pulled me over and chewed me a new one for letting someone do it, heck I was so green and did not know.
Please critique the securement

I agree from what I see the securements look good. On most of the pieces you have points both high AND close to the trailer/low touching securments. If this were my load set up the same way, I know that the piece located right in the middle of the trailer would've been the part that worried me the most had it be me. Looks good Man. You should've tarped it tho LOL! J/K

I use only the black, plastic edge protectors (they are flexable) and I also have about 100' of rubber matting I got from a shipper a while back. That rubber matting is about 1/4" think and is like gold for loads like this.
As for the pallets, I wouldn't have minded them so much as the piece that was resting on them does not look heavy, but I would have made them band the pallets together. Just being stacked on eachother like that would have had me worried they would have comes loose.... heck, even just a 2" strap over the stack of pallets could have worked as well, but I'd rather have them banded cross-wise. -
Edge protectors can be made from bad straps. Cut up the strap in 2' sections and fold them in half.
Agree with everyone on the pallets. I've seen them move around under a load from road vibrations. -
I don't know weather to take that as a compliment or an insult but I'll take it as a compliment. Didn't lose anything front strap did start to wear through a little bit nothing major but it's off the truck now. I worried more about that load than losing the my grand daddy's 40 chevy he willed off to me when I took that down to South Carolina. Thanks for the tips and trick everybody! Have a good rest of the weekend.
