i used to get 7.5 to 7.9 on my 2005 freightliner century.

my 2011 prostar midroof got around 6.75.

my 2012 condo gets a consistent 6.3 at 59-61 mph.

and my mpg goals are consistently impossible, currently 6.96.

i pay no attention to fuel mileage. the goals are out of my reach. instead, i drive with my foot on the floor and make up the money with the extra miles.

I'm also high 6's low 7's in '13 Prostar, but with the auto start in winter, should go higher, in summer. I haven't gotten one of those mileage feedbacks in at least a week when I do macro 32. I also drive on the floor, for sick and tired of stupid wingman thing. Waste of money, just promotes not using cruise control.

You have wingman not Bendix? I drive foot to the floor and after a year I got the fuel mileage roehl desired once. Lol. Most times I'm not far off, 7.30's currently. I should get it this month but this load 77400 (truck, trl, load) going to va from the south might make a damper in my mileage. Van drivers should get a good mixed of mostly light loads even foot to the floor. I agree about the cruise thing as well. Flatbed fuel mileage I assume most of their loads are heavy. Plus if their load is higher than their roof then too much drag. Condos for vans the aero helps alot, the trl aero or trl tail aero or skirts idk if it benefits. I was doing 7.30's with a Columbia b4 I switched but I ran cruise alot.

    wingman.

or, the end of cruise control. you're not the only one. most of the people i talk to who have it do the same thing.

back in bonus days i would get a mileage bonus every quarter. haven't seen one since they put me in a new truck.
