i'm all for cheaper bungees.
ya'll can say what you want. but i'm tired of dealing with 8 foot tarps. and i'm really tired of not getting paid. i get paid to drive. not tarp.
i'll throw the tarps, strap it down and drive down the road. 2 years on one set. they're not getting ruined for nothing. and i'm not spending all day tarping and untarping. they are very easily rolled back up on the load.
you don't like it. oh well. it works for me. in half the time.

There's a Utility Trailer in most major US cities... and you can drive a truck/trailer into their yard.
I use to deliver there quite a bit and sometimes they'd even give me a case if I asked.

i meant there's alternatives around for the last 40 years , like in this article what we call a euroliner; http://www.logisticsbusiness.com/news/news0741.aspx , it's like a curtainsider except the roof can open, sides open and the pilars can be pushed out expanding the width for loading oversize stuff , roof height can also be raised or lowered in a lot of them, you can also use tilts, a tarp covered trailer, simply pull the tarp back when loading and pull over again when done, saves a lot of time and effort ;
