I had the same problem with my striker, all you need to do is use a bigger fuse and that should solve your problem... Just to be sure I would change the fuse on your power wire and on your fuse panel in your truck.

My general lee did that too, change to a 30 watt bus fuse inline and a 30 watt mini spade fuse in your trucks fuse box and you'll be set.

For a 3300 a 10 amp fuse is more than enough.
mike5511 Thanks this. -
Dont use a 30 amp fuse. If you do have a power surge you will burn your radio up long before you blow thebfuse. 10amp max for a general. Same for a 3300

I use a 7.5 amp fuse in all my dual final Galaxy class radios......never have blown a fuse. Did they "volt" the finals? Could that cause his problems?

I don't see that he claims 7.5 amp fuse.
I'm thinking he has a 3 amp fuse.
Go with a ten amp fuse and it well be fine.
