two trucks...wow...air leaks on one and pops out of gear on the other....I guess you won't man up and take any responsibility for either one but you are responsible enough to file for arbitration against your company...maybe you should consider suing the school you trained at because apparently they didn't do a good enough job of training you...ask them for a refund and find another line on work that doesn't involve trucking and doesn't require you to man up to your mistakes......

Im agreeing with everyone else, if you had any safety issues with a vehicle you should not move it until it is safe because you are like the captain of a ship, you are ultimately responsible 4 the safe operation While on the road! By you being a rookie I am very skeptical about the vehicle coming out of gear. I think you should be happy you didnt kill some one, count your losses move on!

Oh and timmy you first said "pumping the brakes" then the red & yellow vavles popped out ..if you had an air leak as you say they would of popped out long before you "pumped" the brakes..so they popped out as a direct result of your actions..driver error your outta here !!! No case !!

Pumping the brakes repeatedly in an effort to slow down / stop will also put the system into emergency by bleeding the air down. I question whether there was a problem with the braking system. Botoom line is I hope no one was injured.

Why would you need to pump the brakes with an ABS system?

Glad you're off the road. I'm calling BS on the air leak, you were going too fast/following too close. And if your truck popped out of gear going down a grade I would have just hit the brakes, revved it up, and jammed it in the next lower gear.

This matter is resolved. I got the settlement I was looking for. Already found another job, 2011 KW with a ridiculous sleeper and .42 cpm. I don't mind this at all...
