About 70k, if it is still a tree, got offered a load of coils back to Colorado but they were a little short on the money, 2 coils and a skidded coil under 39k

 

Anyone ever hear of a cat 938 variation that weighs 44k? Supposed to pick one up tomorrow in bfe and run it to Jax. Trying to decide whether to order permits for it? I can't find any specs for a variation over 34k. Have to decide whether to permit it and leave the bucket on (permits will run me like $175) or take the bucket off and hope the thing actually weighs 35k

 

Rock bucket with chain mail tire protectors will do it, also the extend a tilt buckets are very heavy.

 

Why not bill them for permits, that way you got them if needed. And if you don't need them it won't be such a big deal?

 

The rate is already very good, just trying to not donate to the states of FL and AL if I don't have. Just selfish that way I guess.

Been seeing many of your trucks in Florida, making a note to not get near them.

 

Man, I feel your pain. It would seem that we are in the exact same boat. My wife has basically told me to either come home...or don't. She sure doesn't have a problem spending that $$$ tho, and she sure does like her new truck.

I love it out here on the road, I also love my wife. Sometimes life throws you into situations where no decision is the right one.

I wish you the best in whatever decision you make. As for me, it looks like I'll be joining the droves of worker bees...humpf.
