to ask for or get from a company u been w/ for about 7 months back in 08 and now coming back in 2013 on a Dedicated route. Not sure how the market is in 2013 but I read that people need drivers everywhere so I just dont want to get underpayed and want to know the range I should be looking at. I got no accidents, never refused or left a load, and im a safe driver, clean mvr for over 7+ years. Im wanting to ask over .30 cpm maybe towards .35 cpm. Just wanting to hear others advice.

For a years experience and above I would not work for under 34 personally unless they offer another perk that's worth the lower pay to you . If your under a year recent experience 30 cents a mile will be closer to average for a new driver .

    Prodriver777 Thanks this.

Rookies should start at 30cpm minimum, closer to 35cpm.

Ater 1 year, you should be close, if not at,

    40cpm based on practical miles.
