Well sorry for not updating everyday, first week are behind us and what a week. Learned alot and what a good school, Kevin is my trainer and he is awsome!! Makes you feel relaxed and help you when you need it. Take note "help" not screaming or making you nerves. It was very scary getting behind the wheel the first day but let me tell you these trainers know what they are doing. We had a class session today and Jason were awsome aswell. Motel is not bad got my own room. I'm happy that I made this choice. I'll post more this week I think we done with the home work every night but not sure. Kim is a very good recruiter and she met me Monday morning as promised and settled some of those nerves. If you think to join this school for your cdl I don't think you making a mistake. One of our team members did quite after 2 day's and I'm not sure why. 'll keep you posted even if its late

I believe the other student that left the program explained his reasons on another thread.

Okay Monday is done and we had a blast, much better with the shifting up and down, we did 90 degree backing this after noon and that went very well, pretty much snow tonight and tomorrow, again Kevin where as calm as you can ask for, this instructer know his stuff, he let you do your thing and he helps where help is needed, also make a joke when needed. So far so good and I'm still impressed how they do things here at RDTC.
goblue Thanks this. -
2 day's left for training and to get everything ready for the roadtest on Friday, today was a good day, we went out in the morning with our trainer Kevin and with Dale in the afternoon. Both these trainers got the ability to keep you calm, help you and point out where you need to approve. Like I said before this is fast pace but very good training. So far so good and I'm still happy.

Good luck. Today is the day you typically do the "practice" road skills test where they switch trainers and the other trainer gives you a simulated test just like the DOT examiner would. It was a wake-up for both teams, driving with a different person issuing commands from the passenger seat than had been there the previous seven days....

Well had our simulated road test today and it went great, I passed but its not the real test yet, only Friday. I just need to say this again, Kevin is really a great teacher, he got very good people skills and he do understand the slogan " We drive to protect others". Hope that RDTC take note of Kevin because he is a keeper. I cant say anything good or bad of any other instructers because I dont have any experience with them. Like I said before Jason were great last Saturday and Dale were great the day we spend with him. So far so good and I'm still happy.

Dale rocks! Kevin too!

Can't believe 2 weeks went so fast, well testing tomorrow, looking forward to the CDL road test so we can get this behind us and start working on other skills. This 2 weeks I learned a lot from a great instructor (Kevin) and I had a blast!!
