My guess is he has moved on. I am curious too but I imagine he is now a night manager at Safeway or something like that.

See, he did have it all figured out. Move out west with no experience and make 6 figures in a few months, it's just that easy... ;)

About the only thing that'll top all this discussion is the return of 25 cent hot dogs at trucks stops !!

"Been making great money. In the six figure range" A statement like this after a couple months in the patch reminds me of a guy that was new to curling throwing lead for my father-in-law (who was skip). The lead threw his rocks, both of which stopped in the house, then turned to the skip and announced "well, we got two!".

Yeah the 6 figure thing doesn't wash with me. Winter is always balls out and you make great money but there is NO WAY you will make 100,000.00 in the winter season. I didn't check when he came out but it isn't going to happen. The problem with ALL workers in the patch, no matter what they are doing, they all think they are making 100 G. Untill they actually work out the dollar and the down time and break up etc etc.

I remember fresh stating he was good at driving a car so he figured naturally he would be a good truck driver, maybe give him a PM.

Hey Prairie Boy, any advice for an older rookie driver with 30+ years experience in heavy equip maintenance (welding). Your add says pipe hauling exp. I didn't want to clog up your email with my practically non existent driving exp. email.
