Thank you all! I have done a lot of reading over in the Maverick forum and hopefully he is accepted. He likes the flatbed and I think he'd do great at maverick. he doesn't mind physical work and is already in good shape. I talked to a recruiter and now he just needs to find a way to fill out an application, although I don't see how he can do that while on the road. he went to CR England's school and has been gone almost a month and will probably be gone 3 before I get to see him. I have not gotten used to sleeping alone, or doing the shopping by myself and having to do everything at home is harder than I realized it would be. I'm still glad he's getting to do what he loves though.

CREngland is horrible. Actually all the training companies rank from horrible to bad. They don't train because they like new drivers. They train for the cheap labor and gov't kick backs. With that in mind understand it is normal to be a tough road the first year. Give him support and after a year he can get a much better job. Do what the mud company asks without a hard time and usually things go much easier. A year passes quick and jumping around too many companies is a negative. But go ahead and leave CREngland to Maverick if he can. Then buckle down.

Lol I am very happy I found this place. I have learned more about the companies just by reading other drivers' experiences on here. Maverick won't work because at his last job he was only there 9 months and Maverick requires at least 1 year of previous steady employment. Looking at TMC now which sounds a lot like maverick. Whichever company he gets hired on at will be long term so I don't want him stuck somewhere bad again.

Congrats to your husband. I know the feeling about missing your husband while on the road. I missed my husband so much that I went to driving school to become a trk driver. Well, I been on the road now for over three years. I wish you and your husband the best of luck. Once he gets his own truck you can go out with him from time to time.
