Someone on TDR was gonna put 18 internals in a 16 ... who was that and did they do it? I can't remember.

Is the Accert bottom end the same as a C15?

Similar, but the ACERT bottom end is the heaviest built, and uses a different rod than say a 6NZ or even a 7CZ. The crank will fit in any of the 3406 blocks though, so theoretically you could build a 18L B model if you wanted, but I think $22K for just the rotating assembly is a bit much.

You can put more HP to the ground with a C15 or C16 then you can ever use on the highway, let alone in the woods. So why waste the money on a C18, unless your just looking for bar room bragging rights :yes2557:.

Define 'more HP to the ground than you can ever use on the highway'.
