I am about to go to orientation with Epes Transportation next week and wanna hear from drivers out there about their personal experiences and opinions on working for Epes. After too many years on the road I am looking for a good local dedicated run and epes is offering a position out of minersville pa (about 40 miles from home) and just wanna know if it is worth going with them or not.
Is Epes worth the time?????

Well I took the chance and it was worth it they are a decent company to work for and the miles are pretty good. Averaging 400 miles/day. They will run you if you show that you are here to make money and do not play around. Like I told them I am here to work and make money to take care of my family, you give me the miles and I will run them. I will keep the truck rolling till I burn the tires off the truck as long as you run me legal. They give you a $3000 sign on bonus so that is definitely an incentive and safety bonuses. Worth working for, I have been with them since August and not going anywhere. The dispatchers are cool they work with you which is hard to find in this industry.

Yeah they've done right by me. Been here 21 months now and no REAL complaints. We have our issues just like anywhere else but there is no perfect job. If there was we'd all be there. Compared to most of the companies on here I'd say our issues are minor and manageable. Establish yourself as someone that can be depended on to get the job done and they'll give it back to you from their end. Good money good miles and good hometime too. Don't know about the dedicated runs but OTR side is working for me.
