Hi everyone, I am new to the board as well as new to Prime. I head out 3/24 from Denver for Springfield and begin orientation on 3/26. I have read quite a bit about Prime here and look forward to this new beginning. I am open to any and all advice from Prime drivers. Right now, I think that most of my questions have been answered to include the questions that I didn't even know that I had!!

Best of luck to you! I went with Prime when I started out in '07. Good company, good training, and I have nothing bad to say about them. The ONLY reason I didn't stay with them longer is my wife was not prepared for the OTR lifestyle.
(Btw, let us know who your trainer is!)
LeadfootChinatown Thanks this. -
Good for you. That's exciting.

I am just finishing up in Springfield as we speak. My biggest advice is to get a binder or folder and keep ALL paperwork that they give you, with you at all times,as you never know when youre gonna need it,and DONT BE LATE !!EVER!! We had 3 guys that were late on the first day-they were standing on the curb waiting for a ride soon after. And be honest about your past. Anything you ever got arrested for, or ticketed for, WILL be found, and if you dont tell them, they will send you home for hiding it.Also, if you are ex military and have any medical records, get them before you leave-you will have hell if you dont(theres 2 people right now waiting for VA paperwork before they can do anything). And be prepared to stand and wait-ALOT. (Taking the online cdl tests here is a huge help too for the written tests)
