i re-read his post and he claimed he had to HOLD the truck in gear on the way back to the companys terminal... lmao, i can picture it.. did you even do any driving when you were with your trainer?

better luck next time timmy, the trucking industry is harsh and maybe you arent cut out for it.

 

Well Timmy is clearly showing us his " emotional state "..When you put crazy in the truck, crazy is what exits the truck.

 

Knowing from experience...I was a trainer before which I will never be again...I saw first hand these type of student drivers...I had several that acted this way and thought they knew more than any exp driver out here...

sad thing is ...these training co's don't care one bit whether these guys learn or not...they're just looking at the cash they get for training these guys..

it didn't take me very long to decipher whether a student was just a slow learner from the ones who just flat out didn't belong in a truck period...this is why there are the problems nowadays & why he dot is constantly after this industry...

 

The only time I pump my brakes is during a pretrip inspection. I watch to see if it bleeds down. If it does, get it fixed fast.

Bunk malfunction / unsafe lumpyness.

 

The solution for crummy equipment is getting it fixed or replaced. If you got a company that will do neither, move on to a better company. I never had to drop a company for that reason but I would if necessary.

 

This is what populates the industry these days. Is it a wonder that many truckload drivers are looked down upon the way they are This is what represents you right here, be proud.
