Just completed my phase 1 training with CRE after 32k road miles because they just couldn't route us near Cedar Hill TX for my upgrade. If I lease I can go get a truck today and start getting paid, but because I won't lease I'm required to go through phase 2 'training'. So, I'm sitting in a hotel collecting $25 a day as 'pay' waiting for a phase 2 truck and after phase 2 I'll have to repeat the wait process for a company truck. It's been 5 days just sitting so far, they've got until Monday or I'm gone. I refuse to let them try and starve me into leasing, which is it's own sort of starvation.

Instead of getting huffy and puffy (I missed the edited part of your post btw) you COULD just take the advice that was given to you by people that have been in your shoes, took their time and TRIED to steer you clear of what obviously is a company that is HARDER for a wannabe to be successful at.
as far as your above comment............ I'll play nice and just hope that ALL the MORE EXPERIENCED people in this thread dont know what their talking about and were just lying to you.

Kind of like going to a car dealership and handing over the keys to your trade-in. Suddenly, when you no longer wish to purchase their vehicle, they "can't find your keys". CRE operates pretty much the same way in this context. Good luck.

that is almost everyone's experience.

Even when we wanted to lease they forced us to do phase 2 dumb and dumber for a month.

Hopefully they do not have that "Q" fleet anymore. That was really the blind leading the blind. My last student got into that since his phase 2 trainer quit suddenly because of horrible pay. He was paired up with another phase 2 student and he was always calling me, which was fine, but I was worried something bad was going to happen to him.

The q fleet in 2000 was me running around in an old freightliner classic learning on my own for a month. I didn't see any point to it.

lmao@your last sentence.
