Temp control Div

As my trainer used to say.... "Fawking chickens!" Rotfl. And he pronounced it exactly as I spelled it.

I did well last week with 2600 miles, and then 1800 this week before I headed home. On my way back out Monday with 2 pickups here in DFW heading to NLR.

 

Took my 1st load to Florida. Sure was warm down there, seemed like I was back in the Big D.

 

What part of FLorida? I used to live in Vero Beach, N of West Palm about 45 minutes.

 

I went down to Macclenny, just west of Jacksonville about 30 mins.

 

I am waiting to hear back from my recruiter on my app. After reading everything on this sight I am excited to be approved and get started !! I have a concern about not being actually hired until I quit my current job and show up for training ? I have read several comments on people being sent home for medical reasons even if they are carrying a current medical card, One guy keeps talking about being sent home because of a small trace of protein in his urine, are they really this strict ? What should I expect on the physical ? Any help would be appreciated Thanks

And, definitely read JimTheHut's infamous thread HEADING FOR LITTLE ROCK! for a 2+ year running tale of the career of a Maverick. I recommend these threads no matter what division you plan on going into. Maverick is picky, and there is a good reason. Read the threads, and you will begin to learn why. Good luck Man!

If any of you guys ever get back to Florida and have time to stop at the truck stops in Wildwood, give me a call. I can be out there in about 15 minutes from the house. Maybe give you a chance to get away from the truck for a while.
