What's this combination called?

My company calls them double bottoms. We like them because there's always weight directly over the drives, even when the tractor is only partially loaded. Very helpful when climbing grades in bad traction situations.

 

I understand the concept completely I was more interjecting that this sort of a manover for me as a driver in oz seems a bit old school. I wasnt tying to dis the way you do it but maybe a new driver in the industry should seek other options before attempting this I'm sure it could go pear shaped rather quickly if not executed by someone with a bit of knowledge hence my " leave old timer tricks to the old timers " comment I do however retract my comment where I said "rough" prob not the right word no one like to be called rough.

 

Also known as a B-Train.

 

We call them "truck and pup" here. They can turn around in a smaller spot than a transport but I hate trying to back them, LOL.
