So they sent me a qualcomm message for a 14 hour logging violation that occurred in November giving me 8 safety points and they are putting me on probation till 06/29/08.I am not feeling real optimistic at this point since now they can fire me whenever they want for just about anything.
In for a penny in for a pound I have done allot of thinking about all this and I am riding this out. I will be as careful as possible but I refuse to just quit if they want me to go away they will have to fire me.All this is wearing me down I had to re-tarp half my load in the freezing cold on my way home Saturday
My fleet-manager wanted me to spend my one day off in training classes.when I returned his message he was gone for the day and the night dispatcher told me since I had been out for two weeks to go home and worry about training later sounded like an excellent idea to me.Post more later am gonna go enjoy my one day off later and thanks for the kind words guys I appreciate that -
Hang in there Daytona. The class will drop 2 points. You will need to get in for a couple of them. Just dot all your i's and cross all your t's. Don't stress so much that you mess up again worrying about it. 8 is a lot of points. They will drop in a year, but you don't want to chance them that long. You live close enough that they should be able to get you in for it. Call Bobby in safety and tell him you need to come in. He can message your truck to route you in.

I don't know about safety points, what's up with that? Probation meaning you can still drive, but you're - being watched? If they wanted to fire you, they would have already done it. Take it in stride, do the best you can - this whole thing is a learning process and that process is going to go on for a while before you will be able to say "I've got this figured out". Or not - I don't know that I've ever said THAT particular statement - put it another way: that you will feel much more comfortable with everything, including the driving aspect in inclement weather and hazardous road conditions. I think and hope you're going to pull through all of this, make it through to the other side, look back on it someday and laugh at the "good ole days".

Remember the two grandmas? Well... After discovering all the negatives about STEVENS here on these pages....One stayed home with the grandkids and the other one has just finished her first week at CR England in UTAH.
Tomorrow the test for the backing up will happen best wishes and even prayers are appreciated.
So far so good. Class started with 25 now 18 are left. Staff there at CR ENGLAND are working hard to encourage success. Classmates are also supportive. School cost just less then $1000 as it was paid by grandma up front in full. Much better deal then loans and such.
So far the recommendation is this is a good place. Very cold and the accomadations are not the hilton but it is going good.
Advise anyone coming to UTAH'S CR England to bring your own bedding.
Thanks to all for the advice and care and concern especially wise one!
Watch for grandma Debi on the road she will be out there soon!
Blessings! -

Well am sitting in west memphis I drove a whoppin 320 miles today. tommorow wont be much better. I am picking up a 280 mile load that isnt due till the 9th.I contacted my fleet manager to set up training so I can get squared away and keep my job. He seems to want me to do it on Sunday my one day off.I didnt get home till late saturday and I am suspecting the same thing will happen again.I bet they kick me over to Ft Smith on the 9th probably with a load that isnt due till friday and it will take me two days to get home again just guessing but that seems to be the trend.
I saw a nice cabover here at the truckstop call me oldschool but I realy like them of course having never driven one what do I know.I realy think the backing thing is starting to click which is good because my confidence is realy beaten down.
They have a small scale on a two lane road going into Mississippi from Arkansas I crossed it this morning. I didnt know that one side went then the other. I totaly screwed that up and had to drive around building to cross it again.I am getting real tired of playing the role of the goofball.I know there is always a learning curve but I need some thing to start going right for me.Ok I am done whining I will let you know what happens later -
I am wishing nothing but the best for you.
