Gee where can I get the special Qalcom message that gives the ages? Didn't see anything in that QC message that came across mine about ages. Why would ages be pertinent to a fleet wide message? As for you taking what I said out of context TH, I am sorry that you missed the general idea of the message, In no way did I say I did not enjoy reading the speculation. Feel free to mute me.

I saw the message. It stated that we have already had 2 uturns this year. That's about all it said.
Crazy_Aardvark Thanks this. -
Thanks Fozzy, I was just going through the messages to ensure I was not mistaken, or that I needed better glasses and was considering uploading a photo of it then I remembered that It was signed by a certain person with their full name and if I recall correctly, it is against the forum rules to identify people.

here I sit in Ripon(not Ripoff) and my delivery appointment in at 2300 tomorrow! 13.3 miles away. I think I'll give them a call tomorrow when the office opens and give them the option to take early delivery. Waka waka.

I don't like being penalized for doing my job, ...yet again.
Got to my second drop in San Diego this morning, 6am appointment arrive at 5am. This place is in a strip mall off a BUSY 4 lane and NO way to fit a big truck in the lot without major landscaping changes. Can't sit on the road, it's going to be buzzing with traffic and the sign says in the window that the place don't open till 10am!!!
What to do?
Call night dispatch. Yes, ...lol. (Steven, you have always helped but there are very few at the whole company that at your level. Stevens is very very lucky to have you. ) Anyways, I was basically told to call back ater 8, so that daylight could deal with this issue. Nearest truck stop is 30 miles away. I sneak into the Walmart on the other side of the freeway and pray that they don't kick me off till Stevens can fix this one...
14 phone calls and 5 hours later, the rciever is bringing a van over to haul their 3 pallets of chicken back to their store.
Now, in doing my job, 8 hours later, their delivery is signed for. I swear, they say that stevens drivers have ben delivering them for the past YEAR with no such issues. Really? I'm not shocked, but I'm just trying to do my job.
How do you pay someone for such a delay? Detention pay? LololLast edited: Mar 25, 2013
TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -
Gotta love the wait till 0800 message. SMH. Yes we are very lucky to have certain persons on the night crew. We need to clone him so we can have round the clock coverage LOL
TRKRSHONEY and Corporal_Clegg Thank this. -
Wait a minute hold that thought....It just dawned on me that having more than one Antiachus Epiphineas could result in anarchy. Need to find a way to differentiate between
1, 2, 3 or the weekend relief number 5.
maxwelltie Thanks this. -
