I went to Menards today and they have a nice one on sale for $99. I can't remember the brand name right now.

I forgot to measure how far apart my stringers are under my trailer this morning. I want to make sure I can stow it under there.

I seen that one today at Menards. They are all basically the same ladder, each store just has a different name for them. That one will do the job, but be careful keeping it under the trailer. The road grime and salt will ruin it really fast.

I know it will be tough on it but its the only place I have to put it.

My opinion is if I have a easy to use ladder i'm more likely to use it instead of taking a risky climb up on something. If I have to get a new one every so often so be it. Beats taking a tumble.

I had a telescoping ladder and wrapped it in a heavy duty garbage bag to keep the road grime out of the mechanisms

Get one that will extend above any load you haul. A 13 foot long ladder is dangerous when you have to get on top your 13'6" load. Mine is 17'. Even though I don't like heights, I feel fairly comfortable as I can keep a grip on it, as I either step off of it, or get on it, at the top of a load. Mine is on top of my one 4' tarp box.

I have the Werner 13' folding as well and have had it strapped to my headache rack for a while. I almost always put it on my step and then climb, so 13 is enough for me.
