I don't even carry my ladder anymore. I found it easier to have them lift me up with the fork life on top to place my edge protectors..... I don't tarp much over 6' tall an usually only 4' stuff.

Warner makes a ladder that if put in the right place will go over 14'. Folds down for storage, or can be chained & padlocked to the truck.

That is what I'm going to do with mine. I looked and the stringers under my trailer are too far apart to stow it there.

Most companies won't allow that due to liability. There are few fork lift drivers that I trust.
That's a nice ladder. I wonder how stable it is on uneven ground? -
Had to load up my ladder today for the load of flow bins I just picked up. I bought it at Walmart, called "Worlds Greatest Ladder" and made by Cosco. I knew when I said I don't carry it that karma would kick in and if have to go get it to use lol
MJ1657 Thanks this. -

I have some scrap 4' piece of aluminum ladder I found that was cut off. Just enough to let me climb onto a tall load and stows easily under the deck and weighs maybe 10 lbs.
