If the problem persists with hiring and failure to be hired, contact a lawyer.A company may give you a roundabout reason for not hiring you,as with your case, but you do have legal rights against discrimination.Your gender should have no bearing on whether your hired or fired.Your record as a qualified driver or a trainee far out weighs your personal info regarding race, religion, and sexual identity. If your background record is clean along with your DMV I see no reason some company would not employ you.Again, seek legal advice if need be.One thing before hiring on is to get your records in order.Social security name,DMV record, credit history, medical history record, tax record all need to to be changed to reflect your new name,John to Janet or Janet to John.Document any situations about possible job's in the hiring process, negative or positive.Good Luck.

I've been sitting here in Allentown, PA waiting for a trainer with Werner. I've been out of orientation since Tuesday, and it's Saturday night. I asked for a female trainer, but all the other women in my class are already deployed with a trainer while I sit here gathering dust in the hotel.

Am I missing something? Am I really waiting for a trainer, or am I waiting to be fired?

my jhubby drives for werner, and he waited about 5 days, then his trainer, picked him up, and told him he was going home for 4 days. so dh sat those 4 days out in a hotel. but it turned out ok. and he doesn't mind werner a bit. the yare pretty good, if you do what your supposed to do, they treat yo fair.Iam glad yo ugot a trainer, for sure. good luck. :biggrin_25525:

Best thing to do is pray and ask yourself if you have done anything wrong? If you can say no, then you have no reason to get fired and worry.
