Just sickening, isn't it? Sorry to hear and see that.

Hope they got a big check balance in their account.
Plus get them for down time as well.
Hope your not down to long. -
ouch that's gotta hurt. hope you get fixed up hassle free and quickly
-
I'd call it minor damage. hooh may ezly be fixed. but insuarance must cover all like for new one. it is not good that you got no DVR becouse failed driver can say - ouh, I've been rear ended) LOL
-
That seriously rots , but the good thing is you saw it happen . It really sucks when us OTR drivers park our truck , go inside for dinner and walk out with the same damage and nobody saw it . Happens more than you think . The upside of your pictures you have a pretty Dodge there! Hope the guy who hit you is a good person and fixes it fast .

Yeah, if your radiator took a hit, your AC condenser almost certainly did, as well. And you've probably lost your refrigerant, as well. When you go to get that fixed, it would be a good idea to have your receiver-drier replaced, as well... it contains a desiccant to catch moisture traveling through the AC lines in order to ensure that everything which goes to the compressor is in vapor form... once the AC system is opened up and the desiccant is exposed to outside air, it'll become wholly saturated and useless at that point.
Sorry about your luck. Hope it gets taken care of quickly. I know they stopped making the FLD120SD back in.. I wanna say 2009, but I don't think it'll too difficult to find a hood.
Which company were you contracting for, and was it one of their company vehicles, or an independent? I hope you didn't get backed into by a Rea Contracting/Lane Construction truck... you wanna talk about drawing blood from a stone. -
I was working for a company out of va e v Williams...the guy that hit me is the son of the broker I am working through..ouch...but they seem to be pretty good about it so far...they told the ins. company what happened ..(his company and mine) so I think I am going to be ok...I don't know how they rate trucks but I hope they don't try to total my truck I just had a lot of work done trans rebuild, clutch, truck runs great...got my fingers crossed and waiting is whats killing me , would like to be working instead of sitting...... rea messed my spreader up on the back of my truck about 5yrs ago cost me 600.00 then, haven't really work for them since..thanks for the words on the car looks like its going to be a while before I can finish it now lol...

I actually used to work for the parent company of Rea - Lane Construction. Prior to that, I ran dumps and end dumps for a fleet owner out of Clayton. I had the (tack) distributor back into me, damaging the hood, and a trackhoe put his bucket into my dump body while I was called away from the truck by the site supervisor, and that tore up the bed liner. The fleet owner was never compensated for either, and we're talking about things which happened circa 2004 - 2005.
