Hurry up and sign up, lol. There's plenty of work, and freight seems good. I hit my 34 tomorrow, and should be around 3500 for the week! The director of the Sage campus I went to checks in on me every few days, even though I graduated. Can't bemore pleased!!!

I am I am. They are moving from Kingman. Don't know where yet or when :(. I might go to Utah or Colorado!! I'm anxious to get started. Who are you driving for? I'm interested in: 1. Prime Tanker. 2. Schneider Tanker. 3. Gordon Trucking dry van. Thoughts on these?

I work at a starter company, Im too paranoid to say which one on the internet, lol.I was interested in all three companies you mentioned, but they don't hire out of Montana, which is where I live. I don't have enough experience to let you know about Schneider or primes tanker divisions, but I talked to a GTI driver today, and he seemed pretty happy. I'm gonna put 18-24 months in here, so I can get hired by a smaller company that pays well locally. However, my trainer is on a dedicated route, is a owner-op, and makes over 100k a year. My first week we were down for a new turbo, cams, valves etc for 7 days. It cost him 15k, but since Saturday, we have put down 3500 miles, and are taking a 34 tomorrow afternoon. It's been hectic, I've hit almost 11 hours of drive time every day. Plus it being a dedicated route with three to 4 deliveries each day, I get plenty of backing, including some difficult blind sides.

I wonder what's up, they were affiliated with Mohave Valley Community College. Unless they're moving to Bullhead City, wonder if they've severed that relationship.

Hey Jet and others, today at Sage I am going out on the range with an instructor as he teacher his two students. He said I will get time in the cab. Sage has only 4-6 students per class. Yesterday the classroom portion was very interesting. The instructor went over the required material but also added stories from his 43 years on the road. He gave some great tips that you will never learn in a book! Hopefully today I will find out where there are moving too and when. If I can't start here within the next month, I will goto the Utah or Colorado location. Keep you posted...

Hey. Well Sage in Kingman may not continue at all. It was a great experience. They let me drive a truck on the range. I did 100 foot straight backing twice without hitting any cones and and offset backing to the left too. This was my first time in a truck. I've only read about backing from books. I am sold on Sage andam looking into when classes start in Utah and Colorado. Whichever has a class first is the one I will go with. Rich, the director in Kingman is great guy. He said he will help me with placement, along with whoever helps me at the school I choose. Sage is a first class orginazation.
