What places are notorious for making you sit well past your scheduled unload time while you sit there & watch local guys come & go? I will start with Simmons Pet Food in Emporia, KS. Now 3 hours past appointment & have seen probably 8 trucks in & out.

almost any beer distributor I've ever been to.....when I get those trips they're usually multi-stop from the main warehouse to the local distributors in other states and each one I get there before my appointment, which usually is early AM......and then sit there for a couple of hours while they load their route trucks for the day before they ever even put the dock plate in......then once the route trucks are all done they decide it's time to get to me.....can almost set my watch by it when I get one of those loads.....at least I don't have any problem getting the wait pay.....or have many of those trips.....but when I get one I know how to plan the trip

Doors were empty when I showed up & I have 11 pallets to unload. I get sit pay, so I'm not too mad, its just frustrating.

I work for a local company now that brings product in from the plant to the whrs, 10 trucks, 7 to 8 times a day each truck, each shift. There are time that i will see the same truck at the dock for hours. Sometimes we load overflow products out ,that will go to a dif whrs. If we didnt bring the stuff in, you would have any loads, lol

Hey-I vote for the brain dead idiots at Fry's in Tolleson,AZ.I've sat here more on different loads than anywhere i've ever been.Last summer i had a 6am appointment,AZ Diamondbacks game started at 11:00,they started unloading the bottom of the first and finished at the top of the ninth.I've been here two hours now fr three pallets i'll unload and no door in sight. That's why i don't shop at Fry's.If it's that hard to get out of the trailer,it should be that hard to take it out the front door of their store.Oh yeah,i'm two hours from home.Take care.Brian
