Dot was set up just north of the twin cities today pulling all trucks in. I get stopped and the officer asks what I have in my hopper and if I loaded it at a farm. I tell him corn and yes it was farm loaded. Then he asks what I figure I weigh so I tell him around 78 or 79k. He then asks if im good at loading it close to that weight. So naturally I tell him yes. He told me to have a nice day and drive safe.
Sometimes you get lucky

Palestine,AR at the loves. this place is a nightmare trying to get fuel here not to mention im pretty sure no one in the south or whatever you would call this place knows how to pull up after fueling... even better the guy ahead of me pulled up but not far enough for me ot fuel then got out and looked at me then walked up to me and said" oh you need more room huh." me: "uh yeah considering im 6 ft away from the pump to my tanks " him: " ohh well ill be out in a couple minutes." so i sat stewing and getting pissed off and 10 minutes later he finally comes out and leaves.... Not a fan of arkansas

That is one of those truckstops where you can't pull up actually. If all the trucks pulled up after fueling, nobody could leave as there is not enough room to make the turn around the truck next to you. Not saying it is always that way, but that one is that way. But if the guy attempted to pull up, i guess he should have done it correctly LOL. i used to stop there every week but switched to going to the TA in Prescott because of that.Rugerfan Thanks this.

Weatherford Petro looking for a load home. My plate expires this month! Might be DH-ing on Friday if nobody is paying me what I want. Dallas seems all dried up compared to Houston.

Yeah I see that htey cant pull all the way up but why even pull up at all if your gonna block the pump lol. Have a delivery in little rock and then lancaster tomorrow. then austin on friday. Only have 8 hours on my 70 to use tomorrow and im supposed to jet into little rock, deliver then head to Lancaster also deliver that one with that much time, then austin friday. Pisses me off that they picked this load up 6 days ago in chicago and then left it in Gary , IN for almost a week then it gets sprung on me and now i get to be the bad guy and stress out about making it to the new time they set. getting really tired of having to do this. one or two more loads like that and its bye bye for me. Dont mean to vent but come on!!! is it really that hard to pick up a load and make sure you have a truck that can run it when you have over1000 trucks in the fleet? not to mention trucks all the time running through chicago and gary? Frustrated with this...

And you might want to call and make sure your stop in Austin is going to be open. It is Good Friday and a lot of places are going to be closed.
