I spoke to them before making that last post, and spoke to them again this past Wednesday. Still nothing available for me but OTR and Family Dollar they claim. I live near Philadelphia, PA so I know that's bull. Anyway, I've got another gig lined up. My time with Werner is up.
Three months with Werner...

A guy with a solution. How refreshing. Well done, soldier!

Werner makes more money putting new drivers through there training program then they do making runs to clients. i went with Werner and was running from Florida to California. they truly do not care about there drivers. dispatch is home every night with there families and there pay check is always good so why should they care. and when you have to go into the terminals the ppl you deal with there are very very rude. i was only with Werner for a very short time but in that time i found out how the company really is. i wounder how long they will last. i now drive for a local contractor running 5 loads a week for the USPS. and the pay is much better then i ever made otr and im home every night. i will stay where i am at as long as it last.

You get out of a company what you put into it!

Yeah basically in your first year, need to shut up and take it, unless not legal or safe, then communicate in a professional manor over the qualcom.
Even after 1 year, if you do like your current company, then still good rule to keep your mouth shut.
Get labeled as a complainer and they will bend you over until you quit.DoneYourWay Thanks this. -
You are right because I drove for them and I start complaining about leaving me at the con for 2 days in order to deliver a load because the load planner doesn't know what he is doing and they bend me over until I quit them a week ago. 150 miles everyday and I am sure they know that's not what I want but they wanted me to quit so good bye werner nd good luck in hiring rockies and pay them 0.26 cpm not to offense rockies since im still a rockie but not just out of training.

Speaking of Werner terminals, i was at the Allentown, PA terminal todqy for the first time. What a dump. It looks like a n abandoned lot. No pavement, no empties (you have to go to Bath to get an empty). No lounge or showers, and to use the men's room you have to ask the safety officer for a key as if you were at a Chevron station. Place is a joke

I am living in Asheville nc so I will be running out of the atlanta terminal is there anyone in that area that works for werner that has a good example of the company because i am going to go with them because they allow pets i cant find any companies that hire drivers with little experience that allow that other than werner but all i see is bad info on them nowadays they used to be good from what i understood around 5 or 6 years ago
