No, It wasn't Monica either. It was Chris. I also found out that another recruiter, who was my initial contact had left the company also. His name was Sean. I'm not sure about Monica.

hi all. this is my first post. i too am on that waiting list now for a week. they said my appliction was approved but waiting. i saw a guy from indiana wanting to know where to take the test. i took mine in indianapolis. i took mine on harding street at Truck Drivers Institute. you don't need to go to any school to be tested anywhere in indiana. LOL just need your permit and dl along with $150. they provide the truck with it. if you provide your own truck it is $50. hope that helps. sorry about the changing print. i'm a blog noob!! lol

well i called my recruiter today and she gave me bad news she said i had a accident on my mvr in apirl of 2007 i told her yea i put that on my application and this was my pov and i got rear ended at a red light i told her this wasn't my fault that i couldn't jump out of the way she told me sorry but this policy and to call back in apirl when the accident is a year old crazy isn't it? but i'll just sit here and wait until then and keep chatting with all the good people here.

That's jacked up, dude. Especially since it wasn't even your fault.

JB, I'm sorry the hear that. Keep your head up, it will all work out. I called today also and asked to be placed in the US division instead of Specialized. Another recruiter told me that she would make a note of it and leave it for my recruiter (whom I haven't spoken with, despite several attempts). But, once again, Keep your head up and I wish you the best of luck. KR7

Well...I've finally done it.
My recruiter called me today and said he had a slot for me this weekend---in Specialized! I wavered back and forth and discussed it with my wife and decided to take it. Good or Bad? I don't know.
But I hope this doesn't get me outlawed from this thread (Just kidding, I think) Anyway, I will keep you guys posted on what's going on. I plan to do Specialized for NMT 6 months. I really wanted to go into the US division because I live here on the East Coast (NC) and was told I'd be assigned to the US-Atlantic division. But right now, it's easier for me to go Specialized because I live about 25 miles from Laurinburg. Hey questions for NoTarps and the rest of you experienced guys. If I live close to a terminal, does that mean I may get to stop at the house more often? Just wonderin. Anyway thanks a lot for all the conversation and advice. I should be in orientation on Sunday. I will be coming home every night so I'll keep you guys posted.
