that was a cool video. but i think that the video guy should have recongized what was about to happen and slow down. bad enough the guy was pulling the trailer with all that snow on it but the other guy put himself in a dangerous spot by not getting the big picture

Tough break but an act of God would have been avoided if the ambulance driver wasn't following to close. Maybe its the Lords way of taking care of tailgaters.

Theres also something called a correct following distance,, if you or someone else is following too close,, then your following too close, Period! I've never seen someone with the correct following distance get hit. However two lane roads are a different thing all together. I have a fiberglass roof there is no possible way to clear it of ice and snow short off placing a warehouse heater inside and putting it on a potato truck lift!

Reminds me of a game my dad used to play whenever I did something stupid, "Good Things, Bad Things". The rules of the game are like this, he'd start by saying, "Okay, let's think of all the good things that can happen by doing 'X'"... and usually this would lead to moments of silence... then he would say, "Okay, let's think of all the BAD things that can happen by doing 'X'" and he would start listing all those bad things.

    So, let's play...

"What are all the good things that can happen when tail gating?"..... (silence)

    now...

"What are all the BAD things that can happen when tail gaiting?"

I can now add "Getting a 60 lb brick of ice through the windshield at 60 mph" to the list... thanks for posting that video. I guess the trucker was using the "bridge snow scraper" method for bringing his truck into compliance.... :D :D :D
