Seems the issue of spelling and grammar comes up often on our board :biggrin_25517:
With such a broad spectrum of members from all walks of life and experiences its understandable we would also see a difference in writing styles

We have members who have a knack for writing, the words just seem to flow, perfect spelling and grammar
We also have members who to be blunt just cant write at all, it takes a couple looks to even figure out what they are trying to get across:yes2557:
    (Like me LOL)

Sometimes people have very good/legit reasons for being poor at spelling, or grammar. Sometimes its because a person has a learning disability, or they may be dyslexic, educational background or they may have even had a stroke.
We also have members from all over the world
Without actually knowing the person who is making the post it is hard to say what's going on, and people need to be a little more tolerant of posts that are not grammatically correct, or with some misspelled words.

Reminding them or dismissing what they have to say in public forum serves only to embarrass that member and alienate what could be a valuable source with vast experience to share:biggrin_255:

Please refrain from publicly posting and berating members with lack of this ability!!!

The Truckers Report appreciates all our members, and we thank you for your participation!!!:biggrin_25514:

With that out of the way
I would like to encourage all members to use some form of spell check
Heck I use it all the time, it becomes habit after awhile

Also please put line space or paragraphs into your post, makes it so much easier to read:biggrin_25525:

First you will need to go to Download IE Spell Check and install it on your computer (ieSpell - A Spell Checker for Internet Explorer)

When composing a post you will notice the spell check tab at the top right of the box
    [IMG]

    Close up
    [IMG]

After composing your message and before you click submit
    Click on the spelling icon
It will show you all words that are spelled wrong and a list of possible replacements

    Example
    [IMG]

The one thing I have noticed when I upgraded my version of Microsoft Internet Explorer
Our spell check icon no longer allows access to ie spell
Not to worry its still available (once downloaded)
Go to your menu bar at the top of the window
Click on "tools", you will find it located there

    -------------------------------

If you are using Mozilla Fire Fox you already have spell check
    Quote:
Firefox automatically checks the spelling of words that you enter in text boxes containing more than one line. As soon as you finish typing a word, it is checked against the words in the installed dictionary. If the word is not found in the dictionary, it will be underlined in red, as in the following example:

See link for help enabling spell check option
    http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Using%20the%20spell%20checker
    -----------------------------------------------------
    Please show all members respect!!!
Mom used to say "if you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all":biggrin_25514:

Hey guys, I'm bumping this thread, because we have a lot more members here that are posting from phones. My phone has changed words and betrayed me so much this past week, that I want to remind people that sometimes members are at the mercy of the technology that they are using.
