Stevens Transport aviary

Got a call from a cell phone asking me to go pick to go pick up the load so I did and while I was there the load assignment came through. Good thing it turned out to be a drop and hook though. Made it back to TA... will run.it in the morning.

 

I'm headed into the Target DC in Ft Worth tomorrow. The address in the load assignment doesn't show up in my GPS software, I checked Navigo and it has 5498, not 5500. OK, I google mapped it and it's labelled Swift Transportation/Miramar. Can someone tell me, is this the correct place?

The Target website lists 5500 as the address. I just plugged it in my Truck Routes app on my phone and it came up no problem. Not sure where you are coming from but going south on I35W take exit 45B and it will be on your right. This app lets.me get a google earth sat.picture too and there is definitely a DC of some sort there.

 

I called Emulsified, the great and terrible, and he said that was the right place. I don't see anyplace to park after though, anybody know if they allow parking for your break?

No parking there bro, And they have a tendancy to not make your 2-3 hr window.

 

Shut it down in Nashville TN, praying the repower gods will smile upon me and something will come up. Was a good run today even with all the spring break traffic.

 

There is no parking at Target. There is a QT at Sycamore School Rd and I-35 (dont know exit number) that has truck parking and Loves a few exits farther south at Garden Acres Rd and I-35. Not much for parking in Ft. Worth. Loves was about half full earlier today.

 

There is a TS on 287 also isn't there? Just passed downtown heading west?

 

There is a Pilot on 35 at the 65 exit. On 287 heading towards Amarillo there is a Loves in Rhome and a couple of small truck stops in Decatur. Farther north there is a t/s in Bowie.
