    All of the DOT rules are vauge an easily misinterpreted. Who knows?

    Log books ALWAYS run on driver's HOME terminal time.

    Thats probably what they mean. Im rarely ever able to get a restart anyway unless Im on home time. Im use to running on recycled hours.

    Seems like they are trying to fix something that was working fine just a few yrs ago before the new HOS came out. kinda like these egr's and dpf's. The old engines worked way better and less hassles(atleast that's been my experience anyway).

    Howdy, went and looked it up, it's your "home terminal time" not the actual home terminal.:biggrin_25525:

    Logs must always be done in "Home Terminal" time. That does not mean things must only be done at the home terminal.

    (1) Must include two periods between 1 a.m.- 5 a.m. home terminal time. In my case, my "Home Terminal" is in the Central Time Zone. I must always log in Central Time, even if I am actually in the Pacific Time Zone.
