All I do is run nights and I hate it. But I don't have a choice as that is how my job is set up. The night makes it very hard to see in poor weather, hard to see the back of the trailer like somebody else mentioned, when you get into the winter time, most of the time your driving on untreated roads, and for me personally it really messes up my body. And, since I just had a new baby about 3 1/2 months ago, sleeping during the day when you come home is that much harder. I absolutely HATE nights. But if your looking for job suggestions, a lot of food delivery driving jobs run at night. You may want to look into that.

If you're getting into trucking, you will drive nights/days/etc. When loaded, you'll have a delivery time and will need to be flexable as to driving times.

When driving over the road, I live night driving. Less traffic , more peaceful , less distraction., but the reality of it is that you will never drive just at night. Everything depends on pickup and drop times. All I can say is enjoy the times that you get to drive at night. H. O. S. Will also dictate a lot of when you can drive.

You might try a supplement called bilberry, Walmart did carry it, or Nature Made line. During wwII it was found to help aviators nightvision when piloting. They had the real jam made then though when some were stationed out of England I believe. It is supposed to help the purple cone receptors in the eye which are the ones that help with nightvision. I beiieve the find was accidental at first, wish I could remember which book I read that had the info in to pass along.
