Well i haven't update this in long time so here we go.... Here is a downside! My truck i got from the start was a POS!!! first time i went on hometime checked into a dealer Came out truck still wasnt done. They put me into someone elses truck to use for a week.. Go my truck back and let me tell you. I was MAD the dealer did not fix nothing on that truck. So a week later i broke down sat in shop for 4days into they rented me a truck... Rental trucks are cool cuz we run paper logs down side to this one it was SLOW. Our trucks do 70 and the rental did like 63 lol... Another week past truck was done.. Got it back went back on hometime put truck into shop again.
Now im in a MACK i love it so far great pulling power a little smaller on room.. But i can live with it. I don't like the APU type i got on here only lets me set ac on 65.. But even with all the truck problems ive have not bad a week under $800.. I love working here some things do really suck big time. Today ive been sitting for over 34hours waiting on our plant to kick out this load for me... Kinda sucks cuz its looking like wont be rdy into last min. Well that means i got to rush to get the load their on time... I have a hard time sleeping during the daytime. But Ill be coming up on my 90days and so far its great.
They do ask that you don't Speed they want our CSA score to stay low. Reimbursements are soon as you send in ur release to payroll they put em on your comdata card.. I love thisDispatch is easy to get along with and they help you as they can.

Tyson questions (if you don't mind)
I've been out of trucking since 2004 and am thinking about returning. This means going back to a schoolBut you gotta do what you gotta do I suppose. Before 2004 I had 15 years OTR experience so re-training won't be THAT bad. So my questions: 1. This first one may be a stretch but do you know what schools in the Ft Worth area Tyson approves? 2. Tysons web-site says once training is completed start pay per mile is .39 per mile. True? or is this a Yes and No? 3. I either read on their website or somewhere else that average miles per week is 2675 miles. Yes or No? 4. Last qustion (for now): Time off. Personally, I do not mind slip seating. I like staying out for 12 - 16 weeks at a time before taking time off. (My wife is in the Philippines so the more days off I can get at a time, the better). Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'll appreciate any input I can get. MOUSE

Not sure about schools. Miles are great been on average 3000-3500 a week. Time off I know they really only like u taking 5 but talk to em
