I will have to contact them once we are in. We used to run produce to Walmart and liked that work.
I found the list of all the agents by state on the Landstar website, but don't know yet which ones to look into.

Yep, most get brokered out, as we don't have a lot of reefers in the system. All ice cream loads get brokered, as that commodity is on our "Do not haul" list. I know a LS Logistics Agent that has been brokering those out for many years.

 

Had to go to TX to get our plates... Any hints on who to contact for a load out of Laredo. We do have a live unload, so we will have a trailer.
