Yea, when construction was good, before 2005-6, I could be in a subdivision and quit a job at lunch ant eat a sandwich than go back to work at the next job across the street and miss not even an hour...lol. Paschall stays east of Mississippi it looks like for the most part, says they got runs to east texas and maybe elsewhere but do you know if they can supply the miles to me? My main concern is getting hired and im more worried about the mileage I get starting out. I can team with my sis once I get some time under my belt at crete but they wont hire me till sept. cuzza the 5 year thingy. If I start with paschall or get lucky enough for prime to pick me up, either way I wanted to at least stay with initial company for at least a year or two so it don't look like im unstable? Hey you drive right? Train, recruit or whats yur scoop?

my apologies if I seemed like attitude sir. ment nothing by it, I just figure were all entitled to 1 mistake. most companys wont hire me im sure since they have a selection of people like me before age 33 when I had the issue. If I had the chance though and anyone that knows me well knows my level of commitment, integrity, and the fact that I take my job more serious than the average person, could understand that they made the right choice in hiring me. I never been fired or let go from a job in my life...I was raised and preached honesty my whole life and got more integrity in the Army. Its hard and trust has to be earned. I'm willing to start at the bottom again and my past mistake wont keep me from getting my foot in some ones door. Anyone that has worked with me in construction in the last 20 years could surely explain that ive always been the best at what I do. Its a code I live by. even my military dd214 and paperwork show that.. sorry if I seemed ####y. If ya think ya can help that's cool too. And I always respect advice like yours

I'm an O/O and ex safety at a huge co. The past is gone. Tore the head off creatures that were trying to harm me. My main goal is to help others, & provide for my family. I'm a Man that drives. Past is past. Focus on what you CAN do, not what you have done.

... and here's the bottom line. YOU made a poor life choice. Now that you're experiencing the consequences of your poor life choice, you're having buyer's remorse and feel as if the world owes you a break. It may come as a shock to discover that the world is not going to bend to your will. This is not Xbox - you don't get extra lives or do-overs. Buckle down and dig yourself out. Earn it and own it.

thanks for the input, no one owes me anything brother but I sure don't want to work for anyone who sees a mistake as an end to ones ability to succeed at life or doing the right thing by providing the best for their family. Like I said before, I make sure that every day working that I give 100 percent at what I do. My integrity got me my DUI by answering yes to the "Are you taking any prescription medications" while being stopped in my personal vehicle for swerving over the line. #### right my fault! But I don't settle for those who reject it. I started this thread to find out ones thoughts on the training program in which my mistake will cost me still and for the rest of my life in ways. But I think what your trying to say is pay for your mistakes and nobody owes ya but get back on the horse and deal with it. I was simply looking for experienced thoughts from drivers of my situation. Thanks for taking the time to give me some perspective
