How long has it been since you replaced the radiator core?
-
_
Turns out I needed to replace the thermostat it was just an open running and running and running hot water super fast Pass the radiator wow what a big difference with a working thermostat even know it's a low flow system. -
It would be my guess its a low flow cooling system, I doubt very much you will be able to do anything that keeps it cool in those conditions.

Well here comes summer again I'll have a chance to try it out in 115 + degrees
cetanediesel Thanks this. -
The turbo can cause the truck to run hotter than normal? is that what you are saying?
-
Running without the AC helps, and I know it is even worse, but I have turned the heat and inside fan all the way up, with the windows down. Another heat exchanger helping out. The old trucks used to have 2 fans, before they cheapened them with the one. Always liked having a backup out in MN at 30 below... Of course, the old trucks did not have air clutch fans on the engine either, so they were already making noise..lol
Some say running Synthetic oil lowers temperatures; maybe someone can elaborate.....
