Right now, what is the average monthly gross income for owner operators that provide the truck and tanker for crude hauling in the Bakken area? Are O/O's paid by the barrel or hour? Does that include fuel surcharge? Is there any wait time income and what is it? Average wait times are increasing?
My assumptions-
Income $2 per barrel plus $0.50 fuel surcharge = $625 per run x 2 runs per day + 5 hours wait time paid at $150 per hour after first hour = $1550 per day x 24 days per month = $37,200 per month gross per truck.
