You chose to work at that company. You chose to do whatever action resulted in damaging the equipment. You chose to continue earning money for the company after they took money from your check.

You chose to spread your legs (figuratively speaking of course) so don't complain after the fact that this company didn't even buy you dinner first.

Owners of companies that screw drivers should be arrested and thrown into prison for ten years.

 

And why should the company pay the deductible on their insurance if you screwed up?you are paid to drive safely with out accident or incident...thats their defense

 

Lol that's what most of the Euro trash Chicago outfits do if a driver damages something. They take it out of his 1099 settlement. Any decent company knows it's their equipment and their responsibilty.

LMAO no I am not a "steering wheel holder" for thinking trucking company owners should have ethics toward drivers. There are outfits that deduct from your pay if you hit a deer or catch a flat tire. Drivers need to say NO that this crap. If you work at McDonald's and burn a burger do they deduct it from your pay? Yeah right.

Now if a driver/employee has a history and pattern of damaging stuff then by means fire them but don't screw with their hard earned money.

 

Why do drivers think it's okay to pay for there own damages?? What the hell is insurance for? Mistakes happen. You drivers settle for garbage companies and you wonder why the industry treats you like garbage in return.
