I start orientation on 4/8. Looking forward to driving for Roehl. From what I hear Roehl is a great company. Im impressed so far. My last company was a miserable place to drive for. Good luck yall.

Im headed to Ellenwood, GA. Did your recruiter say how long it would be before we get assigned trucks?

I didn't even know they did orientation in GA. I was told 1 week orientation 2 weeks training. Get truck and first load headed toward home for 3 or 4 days off

Experienced drivers its 3-4 days then road test if you have recent driving experience. If a long break in between then it's 1 week orientation and 9 days with trainer. I did ellenwood ga term orientation myself as well as live in The great state of FLA. Experienced drivers pass all the tests first then yes get a truck and do your thing, newbies that one week of orientation if you make it through til Friday you get hired on, get assigned trainer, go out on the road with trainer, take tests when u get back, then if you pass then you get assigned a truck.

    1. An open-book written test on rules of the road, trip planning, and various Roehl procedures (what macros/messages to send during various phases of the life of a load, etc.).
    2. A road test similar to what you'd take when obtaining a CDL -- pre-trip inspection, maneuvering in traffic, backing.

    Projektf350 Thanks this.
