    It appears we're not too far away from the "Demolition Man" days. I remember thinking when I saw that movie there would be no way they could keep people from swearing in this country. I guess I was wrong.

    Good luck!! LOL I can't imagine that one!!!! How silly! If you don't like swearing, stay out of bars. If you don't like drinking, stay out of bars. What's the problem?

    If you want a "curse-free" bar, open your own - and see if it survives. :biggrin_2559:

    Won't pass Constitutional Muster.
    Michigan used to have the most strict "vulgarity" laws, and a person could be arrested and cited for swearing in public, particularly in the presence of women and/or children. A recent case went all the way to the U S Supreme Court with the Court ruling that anti-vulgarity laws violate the 1st Amendment guarantee of free speech.
