    Pretty sure MO allows it.
AR does not, signs at most if not all weigh stations.

WalMart doesn't allow truck parking because EPA in a couple of NE states fined them for emissions from trucks idling .

DG - While I agree that good trip planning will avoid the necessity of parking on ramps sometimes the best laid plans of mice and men go awry. Early this year I left Dallas with plenty of time on my 14 planning on hitting the first TA east of Dallas on I-20. No room at the inn. Checking every truckstop between there and Silver Springs I found no place legal to park. I finally "made" a spot at the Pilot as my 14 was down to the last 15 minutes. It doesn't happen often but it does happen. The OP is at least trying to gain knowledge to help him stay safe and legal.

As to stopping someplace with food - I eat better and cheaper out of the truck than I can at a truckstop. Tonight I had chicken saltamboca, last night was stromboli, steak the night before that. Now if you want to talk bathrooms I'm right with you but I have no need to spend $10-20 to eat poorly cooked food.

I see alot of trucks parked on the ramp shoulders here in Tennessee. Some ramps do have "No Parking" signs, others don't.

Better to park on a on ramp than off ramp much safer due to the speeds of the vehicles..

Does this mean you can't sleep on the couch when their is a perfectly good bed in the bedroom? I sleep where I want to. So should you.
