I have found what I think is a good deal but wanted opinions. '06 Load King 51' tridem stepdeck alum. combo. It has new steel wheels n tires n brakes look almost new. Very clean, no major corrosion anywhere. Asking $24500. I am a Canadian based carrier so thats why I am lookin at a tridem.

Does it have ramps, dunnage racks, load levelers and all that?
-
Sounds like a pretty good price. I know those load king trailers are supposed to be one of the better ones. Does the third axle have a lift on it???
-
It does not have ramps or liftable axles. Dunage racks are there though...

couldn't one buy ramps????
or isn't there any weight rated that high. -
Use you can buy ramps. Discount Ramps make a very good set and very high rating. 34K if I remember right. Just very pricey.
But 3 axles and no lift will cut your fuel economy. A lift axle can normally save .2-4 mpg when lifted. Not to mention the extra tire wear. Though one could probably convert it to a lift.SHC Thanks this. -
A life axle would be a must down here in the states and running OTR. But being up in Canada, and operating in Canada is a whole different story. If the trailer is in good shape, with good tires and little rust, I'd say the price is excellent for a tridem step. The same trailer down here in the US would go for over $30k and I have seen several for $37k with a center lift axle.

I can lift the center or rear on mine... Popup ramps to the top seck, 3 foot pullouts on the,top deck, 14 ft ramps that, store betweenthe frame rails in the back and inserts that pop out of the, deck to lower an,axle 10 inches
